What can I book with you?
Bridal make-up (with or without a trial), “Book Your Make-Up” for wedding guests, parties, galas, prom, hen parties, shoots or dates, workshops for groups, stage make-up for shows and performances, 1:1 make-up coaching at your place and online coaching on Google Meet. Plus gift vouchers. You'll find everything, prices included, under “Services”. Brands have their own page for collaborations.
Where do you work?
I'm based in Dortmund and Amsterdam and travel between the two every week. I'll come to you anywhere in the Netherlands and Germany. The distance is measured from Amsterdam (NL) or Dortmund (DE). Somewhere else? Just send me a message. Online coaching works from anywhere.
How much is travel?
The first 30 km (one way) are included. After that it's €0.49 per kilometre driven, so there and back. Example: at a distance of 80 km, that's 50 km × 2 × €0.49 = €49. The booking form works it out for you and adds it to your total. Parking or tolls are charged at cost.
How much is bridal make-up?
Bridal make-up on the day starts at €395, the package with a trial at €495. Before 7 am and on Sundays and public holidays, add €25. Bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and guests are from €99 per person, touch-ups during the day €85 per hour. You can reserve your date right in the calendar, up to 3 years ahead and as soon as the next day.
What is “Book Your Make-Up”?
For anyone who fancies a look by me. Party and event make-up €129 including lashes (galas and themed parties too), prom €99, hen parties and groups from €75 per person. I do your look for your occasion, matched to your outfit, the light and you, in person at your place. Tell me about it in four quick steps or send me a WhatsApp, and you'll have your quote within 24 hours.
How does make-up coaching work?
Online, we work live on your face on Google Meet for 60 minutes, with the products you already have (Signature Session €79, Glow-Up Package with 3 sessions €200). Your Meet link comes by email at least 24 hours before. For 1:1 coaching at your place (approx. 2.5 hrs, €249) we go through your make-up bag and you do your own make-up while I show you how. Bringing a friend, sister or mum? Then it's duo coaching for €399.
How do I book and when do I pay?
Pick your date right in the online calendar and pay securely via Stripe. For bridal make-up and coaching at your place you pay a 25 % deposit, and the date is yours. The rest is due on the day in cash or by card, or within 7 days by bank transfer. Online coaching is paid in full when you book.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
On-site appointments can be moved once at no cost if you let me know at least 60 days ahead, and your deposit moves with it. If you cancel, the deposit isn't refunded. From 30 days before the date 50 % is due, from 7 days 100 %. Online sessions can be moved or cancelled at no cost up to 48 hours before. All the details are in the booking terms.
What is MO Backstage, and does it cost anything?

How early should I book?
For your wedding: as soon as your date and venue are set. Saturdays from May to September are often gone 9 to 12 months ahead. You can reserve online up to 3 years in advance. The trial works best 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding, once your dress and hair are decided. For a party, gala or hen party, 2 to 4 weeks is usually enough. Short notice? Just message me. Everything can be booked from the next day.
How many people can you do on the wedding morning?
Plan about 60 minutes per person, plus a 15-minute buffer. So for you and three others, I start a good 4 hours before you all need to be ready. With a big group it can get early. We'll plan it together. Before 7 am, it's €25 extra.
What do you need at my place?
A table, a chair, a socket and, ideally, daylight, so a spot by a window. That's it. I'll bring everything else.
How do I prepare?
Come with a clean, moisturised face. Nothing new in the 7 days before: no new skincare, no peeling, no treatments. Hair dry, contacts already in. And feel free to send me a photo of your outfit on WhatsApp, so the look matches.
I have sensitive skin or allergies. Is that okay?
Yes. Just tell me beforehand what doesn't agree with you. I'm happy to send you the ingredient lists of the products I'd like to use. At the trial, we'll see how your skin reacts. You can also bring your own products that you know work for you, and I'll use those.
What about hygiene?
I'm very strict about it. My brushes are cleaned and disinfected before every appointment. For mascara and lips I use disposable applicators, so nothing goes back into the product. Creamy products go onto a palette with a spatula, and I work from there. Got a cold sore or an eye infection? Let's talk before I come.
Do you work with all skin tones?
Yes, of course. I mix foundation and concealer to match your skin tone, whether it's very fair or very deep.
Are lashes included?
Strip lashes are included with party & event make-up and bridal make-up. For hen parties they're €15 extra. Can't do latex? Tell me and I'll use latex-free glue. And if you don't want lashes at all, that's fine too.
Will my make-up survive tears, heat and dancing?
That's what it's made for. I use primer, set it where it matters and go for waterproof mascara. If it survives a pole show under stage lights, it'll survive your wedding. If you like, I'll stay for touch-ups (€85 per hour).
Do you do hair too?
Not yet. My hairstyling training starts soon. Until then, I take care of your make-up.
What happens if you get sick?
I work on my own. If I can't make it, I'll let you know right away and you get everything back, the deposit too.
Where does the trial take place?
At your place or wherever we agree. Travel is the same rate as on the wedding day: the first 30 km are included, then €0.49 per kilometre driven.
Which languages do you speak?
German, Dutch and English. Pick whatever feels easiest for you.
Do you take photos of me?
Only if you're happy with it. I'll ask you first, and you decide whether I can use a photo on Instagram or my website. A no is completely fine.
