The four products that get me ready in five minutes
Some days I just don’t have time. And I still want to feel like myself. For those mornings I’ve found a handful of products over the years that give me a fresh face in five minutes.
The trick? Only the essentials. Glowy skin, a little colour on the cheeks, lashes and soft lips. No powder, no contouring, nothing that eats your time. Just the things that make the biggest difference.
My tip: use your fingers, and put everything on while your skin is still a little damp from your skincare. Creamy textures melt right in and look like you, just better rested.
How I use this edit
Order matters. Let your skincare sink in first, then put complexion only where you really need it, usually around the nose, the chin and under the eyes. I leave the rest of my skin bare on purpose, so it still looks like skin.
Then blush, high on the cheekbones and blended up towards the temples. It lifts the face right away, and for me it replaces bronzer and highlighter. Mascara on the top lashes only, a little balm on the lips. Done.
You don’t even need a big mirror for this one, the light from the bathroom window is enough. More time? Add an eyeshadow or a lipstick, and it’s an evening look.
