The beauty essentials that always travel with me
If you looked in my bag, you’d always find the same little helpers. They keep me fresh on the go, whether it’s a last-minute coffee, a meeting or dinner.
And there aren’t even many. A lipstick for a quick moment, a nourishing lip oil, a cream blush to freshen up and my mascara. With those I can give my face a two-minute restart in any bathroom in the world.
My tip: pick products that do two jobs and go on with your fingers. A cream blush works on your cheeks and your lips, so you save space and still have everything with you.
My 2-minute on-the-go reset
A good make-up bag isn’t about how much is in it, it’s about what. For every product I ask myself: can I put it on without a brush, without a mirror and in under a minute? If not, it stays at home.
My in-between routine is always the same. Lips first, then a dab of cream blush on the cheeks, and on the lips too if I feel like it. Looking tired? A fresh flush wakes your face right up. One coat of mascara to finish, and your eyes look open again.
Good to know: small packaging that closes properly and a separate mini pouch, so nothing leaks and you find everything in one grab. Office to dinner, that’s really all you need.
